In the repetitive grid of modernism, architecture loses its ability to stand out. Cities are plagued with the virus of modernism, lacking complexity and a sense of identity among a sea of similar buildings. Deconstruction seeks to break down these barriers and create structures that are truly original and unique.
In my video I will attempt to represent this transition from restriction to freedom through buildings in an empty cityscape. I will attempt to show how deconstruction, and breaking from the 'grid' of modernism can unlock the potential of architecture.
